Abnormal / Lowbed Division

Our Lowbed Fleet Comprises of lowbeds, Varying from the smallest a Double Axle capable of between sixteen & eighteen tonne with a winch built into the trailer for ease of loading of non running machines. For the larger non running machines we utilise Tri-Axle Folding Goose Neck Trailers and the Truck Tractors equipped with forty tonne winches these trailers capable of between eighteen & forty five tonne. Our Abnormal lowbeds built to the latest specifications manufactured of light weight Swedish Steel thus affording us the opportunity to attain maximum payload of up to 65 Tonne.

Underlift & Heavy Recovery Units

The Underlift

The Underlift device which is used for damage free towing of Trucks in these ever changing times Trucks are becoming more and more like cars they come fitted with spoilers, farings and bullbars this makes it impossible to tow with the old conventional A-Frame tow device. So the underlift was developed which enables the operator to lift the vehicle on the suspension or even to cradle the tyres in specially manufactured cradle which attaches to the underlift.

The Heavy Recovery Units

These vehicles are also fitted with an Underlift but also have a fixed crane with two Forty Tonne Overhead Winches for the recovery of vehicles which have left the road as well as a forty tonne drag winch for the mud recovery scenario.

Rollback Type Vehicle

Rollback Type Vehicle (Light Motor Vehicles)

This vehicle is operated with a hydraulic deck which folds down onto the ground to enable one to load any vehicle from a Mini to a Lamborghini without causing any damage. This vehicle is also utilised for vehicles which are deemed immobile after an accident where the damage is extensive.

Rollback Type Vehicle (Heavier Equipment & Forklifts etc)

Also the same concept as a light spec Rollback however the Steel & Specifications used for the production of this deck allows the vehicle to load a heavier machine up to approximately Seven Tonnes able to move Forklifts, Containers, Generators and even Boats and Aeroplanes. This is a versatile vehicle which is nimble both in Town as well as a good performer on the open road. Attached to many of our Rollback Type Vehicles we have Knuckleboom Cranes which are extremely useful when rigging and positioning equipment and plant.
